27-June-2012: Toyota Etios made its debut in December 2010. Following its huge success the company also launched the hatchback version Liva in the year 2011. Until now the Toyota Etios has nearly notched up 50,157 units in for the year 2011-2012 making it the third largest selling sedan in its segment. Specifically made for India, the Etios sedan has made its foray into South Africa as well in April, 2012. 06-Dec-2011: The Toyota Etios is also available in the diesel taking the popularity of the car to all new heights. Toyota is looking to keep its ranking at the pinnacle with the diesel variant of the car. The Toyota Etios price for the diesel variant starts at Rs6.44 lakhs (ex showroom Delhi). The new diesel Toyota Etios will be run by a 1.4 Liter D-4D engine under the hood. The car will smoke up to 67 Bhp of max power and a peak torque rating of 170 Nm.

Toyota Etios finally landed in Indian road on 1st Dec 2010. This car is full of luxury, quality and style at very affordable price that make its Indis’s best ‘Value for Money Car’. Etios comes with 1.5 Litre well refined 4 cylinder 16V petrol engine that generates the power of 90 PS at 5600 rpm and impressive 132 Nm torque at 3000 rpm. Toyota Etios Interiors - Toyota Etios Interiors are ergonomically designed and very comfortable. Leg room on the back side is huge and provides comfortable riding for rear passengers as well. Tilted Steering wheel is having sporty feeling with integrated audio controls and excellent grip. Dash board is very simple and left lot of room for improvement. A/C vents are in round shape and surrounded with chrome finish which is something new.  This sedan is comes with spacious 13 litre cooled glove box and 595 litres luggage space with low loading height.  Only the top end version of Etios comes with 2 DIN DVD and Audio player with remote. It is very spacious which provides utmost comfort. The instrument panel which is mounted exactly at the center with AC vents adds aggressive look. The steering wheel has three spokes that is with the dual tone along with the remaining of the inside features. Compare to Maruti Swift Etios gives much space. Trip and the speed meter comes under the instrumental panel, is situated at the center of the dashboard where as the AC vents have circular shape. The quality of seats is good compare to other similar cars.  The dashboard looks very elegant where you can put your valuables. Overall it makes you to feel thrill.
