31-July-2012: Toyota Etios Liva is back with zeal in the form of its new sporty avatar. The Toyota Etios Liva Sportivo will be available in the market till the end of October with only 1,200 units on sale. The performance does not vary that much from the normal variant but it is the looks that capture your imagination. The new car has been designed by the Toyota Racing Development and caters to the young and energetic lot. The new limited edition starts with a price tag of Rs 5.23 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), while the diesel will cost Rs 6.32 lakh.

04-July-2012: Toyota Etios Liva speaks volumes about the company. Mostly companies launch a low end variant and based on its success vouch for higher profits by releasing a higher end model. However in case of the Toyota Etios Liva, the Toyota Etios Sedan was the first one to hit the markets. Due to popular demand the company was forced to release a budget friendly hatchback version of the Etios sedan in the name of the Toyota Etios Liva. The company has surely not disappointed the audience as well. The Toyota Etios Liva till today remains a silent winner among the hatchbacks in the market. Toyota knows the quality cars they make and hardly go gung ho about their products. Till today the Toyota Etios remains in the top ranks of the hatchbacks in India and this speaks volumes about the car it is.

Toyota Etios Liva will be the first hatchback from Toyota India. This will fall in the small car segment. It was first show cased at the Auto Expo which was held in last year (2010). The company is also planning to export Liva to countries like South America, Russia and many other countries around the world. The small car is expected to fight against Hyundai i10, Maruti Swift, Chevy Beat and also the upcoming models like Honda Brio, Maruti Cervo etc. Toyota Etios Liva launched on 27th June 2011.

 
Toyota Etios Liva Exteriors - Toyota Etios Liva looks marvelous. The company is well known for its typical exterior design. U shaped grill on its face looks pretty having its emblem in the centre. Head lamps and fog lamps add even more beauty for its exterior.   It has an overall length of 3775mm, 1695mm of width, 1490mm of height and 173mm of ground clearance. The muscular shoulder line on its face gives aggressive look.  It has got unique look from the rear side. But compare to upcoming Maruti Cervo it looks dull. Overall it has got a good look.

It will have some common interior features like, AC, power windows, power steering with adjustment, remote central locking, Dash integrated music system; Steering mounted audio controls, Rear defogger, Rear wiper/washer, etc. The five-seater hatchback will give enough head and leg room for passengers, Toyota has stated it gives enormous room for occupants.
