Tata Indica Vista made its entry into the popular hatchback segment in India on 22 August 2011. The car has some costly features compared to the previous predecessors but is still priced at a competitive range. The Tata Indica Vista price starts at Rs 3.88 lakhs for the Vista Safire petrol variant. The Quadrajet diesel costs around Rs. 4.79 lakhs. Tata Indica Vista Engine: The Tata Indica Vista comes with different engine specifications and is available in both the fuel variants. The car is available in a total of twelve variants and half of them run on the diesel while the remaining is powered by gasoline. The 1.4 TDI and 1.3 Quadrajet have the same four inline cylinder configuration.  The fuel system is CRDI with the same wheelbase, tyres and ground clearance.

The 1.2 Safire is a MPFI engine type with a capacity of 1,172 cc (71.5 cu in) and power of 65 PS (48 kW; 64 hp) @ 5500 rpm. The maximum torque is 96 Nm (71 ft-lb) @3000 rpm. It runs on petrol with the wheel size of 330 mm which is 13 inches in size. The tyres are tubeless and comes is 175 / 70 R 13 type.
The 1.4 Safire has a displacement of 1,368 cc with a power of 89 bhp @ 6000 rpm. It has a torque of 116 Nm @4750 rpm.
