Skoda Citigo India: India could very well be heralded as the Mecca of small cars and hatchbacks. In fact today these are the cars that are ringing the cash registers for the auto companies. As of now Skoda Fabia is the only pilgrim from the house of Czech car maker in this blessed land of the small cars starting at a price range of Rs 4.4 lakh (ex-showroom). The car maker is all set for another pilgrimage with the launch of Skoda Citigo. The car has recently broken silence and the first looks of the Skoda Citigo are bound to make you stand up and take notice.
 
Skoda Citigo Engine: The Skoda Citigo Specifications for the engine will be equipped with a 1.0 litre 3-cylinder 12 valve MPI petrol engine that will power the car for peak power and peak torque output. The engine can produce a peak power of 60 Bhp and top torque of 95 Nm in the Skoda Citigo. The other Skoda Citigo Specifications for the 1.0L MPI engine delivers the peak power of 75 Bhp and a torque of 95 Nm. The engine is also compliant with emission norms of Euro 5.  The engines are highly efficient and reach the operating temperature even at short distances. The eco friendly engines are highly fuel efficient with of 67.3mpg and 65.7mpg respectively. The CO2 emissions are also quite low with emissions of just 97g and 99g CO2/km respectively.

Skoda Citigo Exteriors: Skoda Citigo will be the sixth car from the house of Skoda. The Skoda Citigo will have finned grille and lots of chrome adorned with a never before xenon headlamps which has the trademark Skoda stamp to it. The grille with the curve at the centre nicely up holds the name of the company. The Skoda Citigo will be launched in three-door and five-door versions.  The Skoda Citigo will have body color bumpers. Fog lamps will be a standard and help ease your journey even in the worst of weather conditions. Even the mirrors and door handles will be body colored for both the variants. The 3 door version comes with an Antenna on the rear side of the roof which is elevating slightly towards front before slanting towards the windshield.  The car also has a rear wiper and rear defogger to it with big and highlighted bumpers. Skoda Citigo Interiors: Skoda Citigo for an entry level car not only looks stylish but also has some high end features like the illuminated instrument cluster with the tachometer, trip meter and certain warning alarms as well. The front occupants have headrests merged into the seats with a host of other smart features making it a ‘street smart vehicle’. The drive wheel is adjustable in terms of the height and will be electrically powered. Even the windows will be powered electrically and operated just with a finger. The Skoda Citigo has all the ingredients of becoming a perfect companion in the City. The Skoda Citigo Specifications with regard to the overall size dimensions are follows: - Length - 3560mm, width - 1650 mm and height - 1480mm. The wheelbase of the new Skoda Citigo on one side is longer than 2420mm. Four adult passengers can be accommodated easily in the car. The boot space of 251 liters can be converted to 951 liters with the rear seats folded only if necessary.

Skoda Citigo Awards: The Skoda Citigo is the first car in its class to offer a automated braking system – called “City Safe Drive” by Škoda. The system is automatically activated at speeds below 30 km/h. A laser sensor identifies danger in case of a collision and activates the brakes.The Skoda Citigo also has a boot space of 251 liters which can be converted to 951 liters with the rear seats folded only if necessary. Then there is the Green Tec Version engine making it one of the most eco friendly cars available in the market. Skoda Citigo Mileage: The Skoda Citigo India will come with the choice of two 1.0-liter three-cylinder engines. They are the 59 horsepower and a 74 hp car which delivers a top speed of 106 mph top speed. Both the cars are mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The Skoda Citigo India have a robust yet extremely efficient engine, with Skoda quoting fuel mileage figures of 62.8 and 60.1 miles per gallon, respectively (on the European cycle).
