Nissan Pixo is one of the upcoming models from Nissan India. The company is planning to grab Indian market in all segments. So, they are keeping themselves busy and trying to give their best for Indian customers to achieve their motto. Nissan is planning to launch more than 3 cars in the upcoming year namely Nissan Murano, Nissan Pixo and Nissan leaf. It will compete with the cars like Honda Brio, Maruti Cervo, Chevy Beat etc. 

Nissan Pixo is a small car which is going to be a grand hit in Indian market. The car is suitable for middle-class families in India, the expected price range of the Pixo comes around 3-4 lakhs in Indian market. The company is planning to launch Nissan Pixo in mid 2011. This shows the strategy of Nissan Indian to make them popular in India.

Nissan India has tied up with Suzuki to develop Pixo which is based on A-star; it will be developed in India and will be exported to countries. It is plans to make some changes of the exterior of A-star and the rest of the car will be same.  The changes will include new grille, upgraded bumpers and Nissan logo. The car is going to compete with Chevy beat, VW Polo, Ford Figo and other small cars in Indian market. The company is informed to launch the Nissan Pixo in two variants in India-Visia and Acenta.    

Nissan Pixo Engine-It is powered by a 998cc, KB-Series 3 cylinder all-alloy, twelve-valve petrol engine, which meets Euro 5 emission norms with Co2 emissions.  It will be having capacity to churn 67 bhp of peak power at 6,200 rpm and 90 Nm of top torque at 3500 rpm. The power and torque will be used cleverly by five-speed manual transmission.

Nissan Pixo Exteriors- It is a Four-seater with five doors which has got suffocated look. The design of the exterior is aggressive which gives a sporty look for the car. The upper and lower grills are well shaped where upper grille has been divided in 2 parts and two pieces at each side is given. The car comes up with latest headlamp along with cluster. It also has body colour outside rear mirror (front side) with turn indicators and rain sensing wipers. The door handle bars and front and rear bumpers are in body color too. The car gives you enough space in the rear side to store your shopping things.

Nissan Pixo Interiors- It comes up with various interior features like round speedometer, DIN audio system and heating and ventilation which make you to feel happy about interior of the car. It has Dashboard which consists of Speedo-meter, AC vents and Audio system. It has a good capacity as per as the storage of valuables is concerned.  It gives you the freedom to stretch your legs, it is very spacious, and it gives enough boot space. The seats are wide and will give you comfortable where seat adjustment is very easy for passengers as well as driver. 

Nissan Pixo Safety Features- It Comes up with inbuilt power front window, anti-lock braking system (ABS), power steering, keyless entry, split folding rear seats, dual front airbags and side airbags. The expected fuel efficiency of this car is above 19 kmpl on Indian roads.
