Nissan Murano is a one of the upcoming cars of Nissan India. It looks like mid-size SUV and crossover. The demand for SUVs in India is rising day by day, keeping it in the mind the Japanese based auto manufacturer is planning to launch Nissan Murano. It is going to compete with the cars like Audi Q5, BMW X3 and BMW X1  So, obviously the price is hefty, it will come in the range of 35 to 37 lakhs. It was first unveiled in December 2002 and thereafter Nissan launched many upgraded versions of Murano. Recently Nissan has launched an upgraded version of Murano in US and Canadian market which is powered by a 3.5 litre, DOHC, V6 petrol engine. The company is planning to launch both petrol and diesel version of Nissan Murano in UK and Indian market by 2012.
         
Nissan Murano Engine- Nissan Murano is a front wheel drive (FWD) vehicle which is also available with four wheel drive as an option. It will be equipped with powerful 3.5L, 24-valve, SOHC, V6, petrol engine. It has a capacity to produce 252 bhp at 6000 rpm and it is capable of churning 334 Nm at 4400 maximum of torque with CVT. You can reach 0-100 in just 8.5 seconds and can achieve maximum 210kmph speed. It comes with both petrol and diesel variants where diesel variant comes with 6 speed manual gearbox.
   
Nissan Murano Exteriors - Nissan Murano will be a five door mid-size SUV, the exterior of the car is superb with outstanding features. The head and fog lamps look very stylish which gives a sporty look for the car.  It has got stylish front fascia and stunning rear design, The ORVMs are in body colour with 3D Front fog lamps (like cluster).  The car looks funky from rear side with LED tail lights and rear defogger. The 20 inch alloy wheels add much more beauty for the car.  Totally the design of the car will attract younger generation.
