Maruti APV is an upcoming model from Maruti Suzuki India, which is expected to be launch by the end of 2011. The largest car manufacturer of India Maruti Suzuki showcased Maruti APV at Jakarta Motor Show in 2009. It is an eight-seater which is literally replacement for Maruti Versa in Domestic market. People are curiously waiting to see the eight-seater minivan, it is expected that the car will come in both petrol and diesel versions in Indian market. The van is built for those who want a big vehicle to move around with large luggage. Exterior- Maruti APV is expected to come with awesome exterior features, the minivan looks very pretty with its 1655mm, 4155mm of length and 1865mm of height. The exteriors present clean straight lines, improved body graphics, powerful clear-lens headlamps, back bumpers, rear cluster tail lights, built-in reversible lamps and other premium features. Furthermore, sliding doors provide additional comfort while embarking and disembarking onto the vehicle. It will suit for the People who are looking for family cars.

Engine- Maruti APV will be powered by 1500 cc petrol engine; it will have a capacity to generate 68kw at 6000 rpm of power along with Nm at 3000 rpm of peak torque with 5 speed manual and automatic transmission. The company has not revealed much things as per as the engine is concerned.

Interior- Maruti APV will be an eight-seater with good interior features. The interior is designed in such a way which suits to family; it is a multi utility van for use in business as well as in the family. The eight-seater for the family is ideal to suit most family needs. There is a lot of space for nearly every family requirement. It is ideal for individuals who require travel long distances or take their family members for a holiday, it has ample head-room and leg-room for everyone, it has two extra seats directly behind the front seating and facing away towards the rear of the van making it an eight seater. In fact the car is half meter longer than the Maruti Versa and is also 18 cm wider. The dash of the car is similar to that found in saloon car. The centre console is similar to that in corolla and has sporty red needles and silver ringed dials. The car has air conditioner feature and the driver’s seat can be manually adjusted.

Safety- Maruti APV  is expected to have some common safety features like- ABS with EBD and Brake Assist, dual stage frontal airbags, side impact airbags for front passenger and driver, electronic stability Program (ESP), Traction control system (TCS), front fog lamps, seatbelt pretensioners, force-limiting belts  and  Restraint System.

The price of the car is around Rs 6 to Rs 9 lakhs. The car will be available in India in a single design variant. Mileage-The car is expected to deliver mileage of around 12 km/liter. The company has not revealed anything about shades of Maruti APV.
