16-May-2012: Mahindra Thar has taken the adventure world by surprise with the launch of a new Cool Thar. The new Thar is now equipped with air-conditioning with at a starting price of Rs 6.86 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi.

Apart from the comfort factor, the Mahindra Thar has also increased the security quotient with the addition of a digital immobilizer, which safeguards against theft. This means the Mahindra Thar CRDe 4X4 BS4 can now be taken out to tame the roads day in and day out. 06-Dec-2011: Mahindra Thar is also proving its mark in the overseas market. The car has been taming the Europe and South African market for the last couple of years.
