Honda Brio is all set to break the price barrier in the small car segment with a big bang. It is expected to start with a reasonable price of Rs. 3.95 lakh for basic variants and go up to Rs. 5.10 lakh for top end V variant. The Brio is all set to debut on 27th September 2011.The car will compete with Maruti Swift, Volkswagen Polo, Ford Figo, Hyundai i10 and the Toyota Liva.
This clearly shows that Honda Brio India wants to enter the tier II cities with the hopes of regaining lost ground in terms of the sales. In fact figures suggest that the sales have peaked up to 30% in 2010.The Honda Brio price in India will be helped by the fact that the car has been given the small car certificate with just 10% tax by the Government. If you want additional accessories you'll have to pay extra amount for the same. The Honda Brio India is the successor after the Honda Jazz which only raised a lot of smoke with its good engine. One of the main reasons for the failure of the Honda Jazz is believed to be the high price range of the car.

Honda Brio Caught in a Diesel Engine
Honda Brio is all set to come all guns blazing with a new diesel engine. The car was recently spotted doing test rounds on the Gurgoan road. Let us hope they finish all the testing and get this thing out as early as possible. Honda has realized that giving the audience what they want is the right way to go about.
