Ford Figo Specifications
The Volkswagen Polo is a better performer compared to the Ford Figo India on road with a better gearing lower down and slightly better power and so it all evens up on the spec sheets, though by a very small margin. The Ford Figo Specifications comes with a 1.2 litre petrol engine that seems a bit low on the power and even the right gear shifts will make you doubt your driving skills. However the 1.4 Duratorq diesel engines does offer some solace to the Figo's potency. A good chassis balance and drive feel make up the overall Ford Figo Specifications for a good C segment car and seemingly give the feel of a lifetime.

Ford Figo and Ford Classic Is On Total Recall
Ford Figo and the Ford Classic have been recalled by Ford India to rectify problems related to steering and rear suspension. The company has recalled over 128,000 units of its Ford Figo and Ford Classic. Cars made between January 2008 and December 2010, and from September 2010 till February 2011 have been the victim of this recall.

Ford Figo Caught in a Facelift Avatar
Ford Figo has been caught in its new updated avatar while going about its test rounds. The spy shots reveal that the new Ford Figo will have new tail-lamps and a new look front styling. It seems to have been ripped off the Fiesta hatch that runs in the distant South America. The bumper however remains true to its present avatar.

Ford Figo Awarded as the Car of the Year
Dearborn, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit-based car manufacturer Ford ruled the 2010 edition of the ET-ZigWheels. Ford has grabbed 3 Awards, i.e. car of the year 2010 for Ford Figo; it has also won the Premium Hatchback award and the zigwheels.com com Audience' Deciding Car of the Gathering categories, making it an eventful nighttime for the manufacturer.
The president and MD of Ford India Mr. Michael Boneham said "This last year has been a terrific one for Ford in India."

Ford Figo Awarded As ‘Indian Car of the Year 2011’
The ‘Indian Car of the Year’ is awarded by a panel of automotive journalists modeled on the selection process used by the European Car of the Year award. Dec-15 2010 is the best day for Ford Figo because it was awarded the prestigious prize at a ceremony in Mumbai. It has got the award of Indian car of the year 2011 whereas Last year the award went to Tata Nano.
