The engine has the needful as far as city-driving is concerned. With 1L engine, Chevrolet Spark is more thrilling to drive in city. It can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 16 seconds and comes with a Siemens EMS to monitor emissions, which allows it to burn fuel more efficiently.

Chevrolet Spark Exteriors: Chevrolet Spark exterior has a very soft yet bold look. It has very smooth and prominent etches that define its hood in a blunt shaped that makes the car look like it is smiling. The poached-egg-shaped headlights are prominently placed on either side of this hood. The front bumper and grill present a look of solidarity. The symbol of Chevrolet is centralized in the front of the hood. Highlighted wheel arches and structured sides of the car divide it prominently, giving it a futuristic and streamlined appearance. Chevrolet Spark Interiors: The interior of the Chevrolet Spark is designed with the word "different in mind. The instrument pod is placed in the center of the dashboard, above the console. This gives the entire interior of the car a new look. Well-positioned pedals help keep the driver feet comfortable. The big front quarter-glass helps visibility and the seat fabric with its funky design lends a youthful touch. Although the cabin is attractively designed, it abounds with dull grey plastics that feel cheap and brittle. The front seats, though a little short on under thigh support, are comfortable enough. The headroom is not as good as the Santro or Wagon R. Legroom at the rear is surprisingly good and the Chevrolet Spark can seat 2 adults in reasonable comfort, but there is a squeeze in the rear. There decent storage space in the cabin. Rear passengers have to make do with a single pocket behind the front seat. However, there are plenty of neat details in the Chevrolet Spark. The spectacle case above the driver side door is handy and the anti-glare rear-view mirror is a practical touch. The Chevrolet Spark boot is very spacious when compared to the Getz and Swift. The top-of-the line LT has a Kenwood stereo that has two front speakers. There is a tiny space for two speakers at the rear but you will have to cut the parcel tray to mount larger speakers.

Chevrolet Spark Ride and Handling: The Chevrolet Spark handles better than its peers without sacrificing ride quality, which is impressive for such a small car. It does have the absorption qualities or the planted feel of bigger, heavier hatchbacks and larger bumps and potholes do tend to jostle the passengers but you are never dissatisfied with the ride. It is quite nimble and body roll is fairly well controlled. The steering feels dead around the straight-ahead position and though it is light and effortless, it doesn’t feel crisp.

Chevrolet Spark Safety Features: The top end model of Chevrolet Spark gets various safety features whereas the basic in basic model of Chevrolet Spark some safety features are missing. ABS is an option on the top-of-the-line LT version. The front end complies with European pedestrian safety impact standards and there are tailored metal blanks in the sides for impact protection. The safety features like Central Locking, Antilock Braking System, Airbags, Child Safety Door Locks, and Front/Rear Seatbelts are excellent.

Chevrolet Spark Fuel Economy: The 1.0L Petrol Engine Chevrolet Spark gives a mileage of 12.5 kmpl in City conditions and around 17 kmpl on Highway. The Chevrolet Spark has a roguishly striking design and comes with Siemens EMS to monitor emissions, which allow it to burn fuel more efficiently thereby giving a better mileage but has plastic interiors and the Instrument pod is placed in the center of the dashboard, which might make it difficult for the driver.
