29-June-2012: Chevrolet Beat diesel has come out triumphs with the title of Most fuel efficient car. The car delivers a mileage of 25.44 kmpl which beats the Tata Indica eV2 which had the highest mileage of 25 kmpl. The announcement was made by the International Center for Automotive Testing (ICAT). The result has been achieved with a minor tweak to the engine and emerges out to be the most fuel efficient car. Earlier, Chevrolet India raised the price of Beat Diesel by Rs 50,000.

06-Dec-2011: The Chevrolet Beat has taken off from where the Chevrolet Cruze left the Indian audience mesmerized. The smart pricing of the car makes it a complete value for money as the new Beat is lighter by Rs 60,000 making it cheaper than its 1.2 Litre competition. The top notch models with ABS and Airbags also comes a cropper by Rs 45,000 when compared to the likes of Maruti Ritz and Hyundai i10.
