Mahindra Xylo is Equipped with a new 2.5-litre mDI CRDe engine, the Xylo D2 offers excellent power and torque and a high level of fuel efficiency of 13kpl. The Xylo D2's mDI CRDe engine complies with BS 3 emission norms and delivers 95bhp and 215Nm of torque over a range of 1400 to 2600rpm. The 2.5-litre engine is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. The new Xylo is powered by the same engine used in the recently launched Bolero Storm CRDe but it has been fine tuned further to give more power and has been named M-Eagle CRDe. The mEagle CRDe diesel engine with a capacity of 2498cc is very powerful and offers an impressive performance with only diesel fuel type. The suspension setup for the Mahindra Xylo in India is independent coil spring for the front and multi link coil springs for the rear. Mahindra Xylo Mini

M&M is all set to launch a mini version of its popular car - Xylo. Sources tell that the trial production has already begun and the mini Xylo could make it any time by the first quarter of 2012. The mini-Xylo will have a sub-4 metres length.

Mahindra Xylo E8: Same as E4 BS III but with some entertainment features like, CD player, Mp3 player, AM / FM radio and front and rear speakers.

Mahindra Xylo D2: D2 is the base variant of Xylo which has standard features like AC, steering wheel adjust, central locking, power windows, wheel hubcaps, foldable rear seat, Tachometer, rear central arm rest, door mirror and rear AC vent.

Mahindra Xylo E4: Same as D2 BS III but with body colored bumpers, body colored tailgate handles, rear window washer, rear window wiper and wheel cover.

Mahindra Xylo E6: Same as E4 BS III but with rear seat center arm rest, rear cup holders, outside temperature display, front and rear fog lights, power adjustable outside rear view mirror, body colored door handles, body colored outside rear view mirrors and rear window defogger.

Mahindra Xylo Celebration Edition: The Mahindra Xylo Celebration Edition II comes with a special Walnut Brown Colour & Designer Body Graphics. A crest emblem and badging of the Celebration Edition II mark their presence around the car. Inside, leather makes its mark all around in this edition. Genuine Italian leather seats, leather wrapped steering wheel, leather wrapped gear knob and dark chocolate glossy finish door trims provide proof of the car’s leather fetish. For the price you get the new Xylo, Mahindra Xylo gives the best in class mileage of around 15- 16 kmpl. The car delivers mileage of 10 km/litre in the city while on the highway its mileage is 13.3 km/litre for the old mDI CRDe diesel engine variants.
