The leaf spring can carry a good amount of load, but that's all it has to its credit. The steering is good for city use but doesn’t weigh up with speed, so at highway speeds it feels quite lifeless. While there is a noticeable difference in handling, the ride isn’t as much of an improvement. The ride quality though overall is improved and you can drive through broken patches without lifting from the accelerator. The company has managed to dampen the body roll in the mHawk to a great extent. The re-tuned suspension has made a genuine difference in the way the Mahindra Scorpio handles.
