Ford Figo and Ford Classic Is On Total Recall

Ford Figo and the Ford Classic have been recalled by Ford India to rectify problems related to steering and rear suspension. The company has recalled over 128,000 units of its Ford Figo and Ford Classic. Cars made between January 2008 and December 2010, and from September 2010 till February 2011 have been the victim of this recall.

Ford Figo Caught in a Facelift Avatar

Ford Figo has been caught in its new updated avatar while going about its test rounds. The spy shots reveal that the new Ford Figo will have new tail-lamps and a new look front styling. It seems to have been ripped off the Fiesta hatch that runs in the distant South America. The bumper however remains true to its present avatar.

Ford Figo Goes To The Next Level

Ford Figo reminds us that why Ford still is a force to be reckoned with in India. In fact the Ford Figo is the only the car from the house of Ford Motors that generates about seventy percent of the entire cars sold in the country. Ford Figo Awarded as the Car of the Year

Dearborn, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit-based car manufacturer Ford ruled the 2010 edition of the ET-ZigWheels. Ford has grabbed 3 Awards, i.e. car of the year 2010 for Ford Figo; it has also won the Premium Hatchback award and the zigwheels.com com Audience' Deciding Car of the Gathering categories, making it an eventful nighttime for the manufacturer.    The president and MD of Ford India Mr. Michael Boneham said "This last year has been a terrific one for Ford in India."

Ford Figo Awarded As ‘Indian Car of the Year 2011’

The ‘Indian Car of the Year’ is awarded by a panel of automotive journalists modeled on the selection process used by the European Car of the Year award. Dec-15 2010 is the best day for Ford Figo because it was awarded the prestigious prize at a ceremony in Mumbai.
