Ford EcoSport 2012 Launched in India

Ford EcoSport, joins the bandwagon of new global compact sports utility vehicle and is the second of eight new global models that Ford plans to launch in India. The new Ford EcoSport SUV features the automaker's smallest EcoBoost engine, a one-litre three-cylinder. Toyota Fortuner with auto transmission also may do good volumes, while Nissan Evalia, Renault Duster and Ashok Leyland's Stile may give competition to the Ford EcoSport. This car, based on the Fiesta platform, is expected to be available by the year-end.

Tata Nano Total Recall

Tata Nano is going for the nation’s biggest auto recall by taking 1,40,000 Nano cars back to the garage to replace the starter motor free of cost. The car had a worse dream start following reports of many Nanos catching fire. The dream later became reality with similar incidents around various parts of the country.

Nissan X Trail is all set clear its poor trail of sales in the past which failed miserably due to its hefty price. The car had a huge price tag mainly because it was directly delivered from Japan through the CBU route. However the company seems to have learnt its lessons from the past and this time around, Nissan has a strong strategy in mind. Nissan has released a special edition of the Nissan X-Trail along with ten new features in the country at the price of Rs. 22.78 lakh.

Skoda Citigo is The Newest and The Smallest Car

Skoda Citigo is the newest and the smallest car from the house of Skoda. The Czech car maker is gearing up the car specifically for the Indian markets although initially the car was planned for the Europe. The past efforts from the company to break into the compact car segment in the Indian market with the Skoda Fabia was not very fruitful and is now once again planning to gulp up some big volumes by launching the entry level product.
