The entry-level model named as the classic will be equipped with a 1.9 litre TDI turbodiesel with 74 kW or with the option of a 2.0 litre I4 engine rated at 85 kW. The other Skoda Superb variants like the Comfort and Elegance models come with a 1.8T (110 kW) Petrol or either a 142 kW V6 2.8 litre petrol engine. The 2.5 litre TDI is rated at 120 kW. The gear shifts are handled by a six-speed manual or a five-speed tiptronic auto gear option.
